Version 2.0

Post by Russ1409 » Fri May 29, 2015 10:37 am

Love the new update! Especially love the zoom in on the music for us "almost" blind folks :D

I can't find the accompaniment at 1/2 tempo for RH of Greenday's Good Riddance (Rookie Tour, Lesson 9). Using the slider, 1/2 tempo should be 86. I've tried increments from 72 to 121 looking for the accompaniment with no luck. Am I missing something? Half speed accompaniment was really nice for encouragement. I do kind of miss the buttons for 1/4, and 1/2, and 3/4 speed, but I read the other post and the slider is probably a good idea.

Other than losing the "progress" on the downloaded lessons all, no problems at all. All of the badges and times were gone at first but they all came back in a rush after I re-completed my first bootcamp lesson.

Thanks for all the work!

Russ

Hey Russ, I'm glad that you like 2.0 so far! We're going to be adding some new features and tools over the next few weeks as well.

In regards to the "Slow Tempo," you'd want to click on the this icon at the top of your screen:

I don't have the slow tempo button, only the slider.

I was going to post this above, but I solved the issue. Apparently when you use the slider, the buttons disappear. Once you close the program and restart it, the buttons reappear. Just FYI, as this could be somewhat frustrating for someone.

Hi Russ,

Here is more details on how slow/normal and custom tempos work.

Each lesson that has accompaniments will show slow/normal tempo buttons when the accompaniments are turned on:

If the lesson does not have accompaniments, or you have turned off accompaniments for the lesson, or you have set a custom tempo, then you will see this:

If you want to see the slow/normal tempo buttons again, just turn back on accompaniments by clicking the icon in the toolbar:
