Update: just fixed the queing problem. I selected: EDIT, uSER SETTINGS, sYSTEM DOWLOADS, DOWNLOADING SOURCE, CHANGED IT TO AMAZON CONTENT DELIVERY NETWORK. Now all songs, lessons, and courses are downloaded full speed.
Not sure how the setting changed or what the different settings are for. Maybe technical support will apprise.

With your workaround of changing the source of downloadings from Playground Relay to AmazonContent Delivery Networks, everything began to download fine.
