Yamaha PSR300 from the 90s
Hey! I've recently rescued my old keyboard from my parents' basement, and I'd love to use it with playground sessions on my pc. I'm wondering whether it'll work, or if the software isn't prepared for something this old! Thank you.

Hi there,
That sounds exciting! Fortunately, there's an easy way to tell if a keyboard will work with Playground.
Check the back panel of it for connection options. Do you see USB to Host (Square) or MIDI in/out jacks? If you do, it'll work!

It does have a MIDI port, but it being so old, I wanted to check. Thank you!

In/out jacks, or just one MIDI port?

Looking at the online manual on the Yamaha website, the PSR-300 has IN and OUT MIDI ports. Cloud will need a USB to MIDI adapter unless the computer is as old as the PSR-300. I have a Roland UM-ONE that works well. Yamaha (UX16) should also be good.
