Software crashing

New user. Loaded software on iPad without issue. Connected to Kong music workstation. Software sees keyboard and displays key presses. Initially plays sounds. After about 8 notes the sound literally crashes. A horrible static explosion is played and fades out, leaving no audio. App still sees key presses but no sound. I have to force quit the app and restart to play 8 more notes.

HELP!

On the iPad check to make sure you've set the sound engine to 44.1kHz. iPad probably setup to 48kHz.
