It's funny how Android, iOS, Mac OS X and Windows have all gone to promoting the "Instant On" benefit of using a sleep mode instead of real actual shutting down (and in fact the iOS and Android devices make it more difficult to power the things off). But all these machines still must be rebooted frequently to actually run at peak performance. I just make it a habit to clear apps from memory on iOS and Android, and actually power down between uses on Mac and Windows. I usually weekly power cycle my Android and iOS devices too. Things just seem to run better that way.

Coincidentally, Playground Sessions keeps up to date for me.

I'm doing the same thing, weekly reboot my iOS and Android devices.
And shut down my labtop daily, and it always run better next day, I hate sometimes that I have to reboot while in the middle of the task.
