I have it connected via USB.
I read you can also connect via bluetooth but i´m a cable guy... never tried bluetooth.

you can connect the laptop via line in to the piano to use the speakers i read in the manual.
but that only works if it isn´t connected via bluetooth to another device since then all wired connections are deactivated.

though i never tried that but i will test it this weekend and i write here if it works.

Also do the sound from the programme (on the laptop) also get played through the piano speakers (/headphones)?

tried the line in today with the 3.5mm jack.
works like a charm - used the headphone output on the laptop.

but don´t expect high quality audio for music it´s better than the laptop speakers but can´t compete with a real hifi system

I just downloaded the update this afternoon and have reset many times and still only half of mine are showing pics. Now what>
