Hi GuzmanPhyll!
As far as I understand, "Performance Mode" in PGS is basically the last module in any given song. You can see on the left column (where your practice modules are specified, if you look at the last one, it has a notation of "performance" as the previous modules show as "practice"). This isnt something I've come acrossed that you can activate. Again, my understanding for the performance mode is to grade your performance with "stars" instead of just a percentage score.

Getting Stars in performance mode only applies to songs from the song store, not boot camp lessons or courses. Performance mode turns off the Demo/Autoplay feature. Off hand I don't remember, but it might also disable the ability to change the tempo.
