Trouble using ASIO for input latency.

Post by johnwest09 » Sat Feb 20, 2016 4:09 pm

I'm having input latency using playground so I downloaded ASIO, but i'm not sure how to set it up to work in playground, so I'm still getting latency issues.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

That's strange. After downloading it onto your computer it should automatically kick in.

Have you tried restarting your computer?

Hei John,
Have you managed to sort out your latency issues?
I am using Windows 10 machine with a Roland Digital piano and playground just does not work with such large latency.
What I read as a solution is rather complicated and confusing. I wonder if you'd figured it out.. ?
Thanks

You should be able to select ASIO in Playground (Edit -> User Settings -> Audio Devices)

By default I believe it uses Windows Audio.

Thanks, it helped a lot. Still some latency, but it is doable. Now the problem is that there is no Audio on the Video Tutorials.
Did you have a problem with that?
Thanks in advance.
