Dynamic marking on sheet music

Just wanted to say I am enjoying learning with Playground Sessions so much and wanted to add a suggestion for improving the experience. I think that dynamic markings should be included on the sheet music even if the software is unable to pick this up and mark users on it. It would then give an extra angle to work on when you feel you've mastered a song to really make it come alive. Maybe also a video tutorial addressing dynamics and playing harmony slightly quieter with the left hand would be a good addition to the bootcamps section.

We have experimented with dynamic markings in the past, but they clutter the sheet music in the app. It is something we might eventually put into the software, but we are not making any updates at this time.

On Memorial Day, our head of technology tragically passed away trying to save a young girl from drowning in a river in Utah. We are working to hire a new developer to fill in for him. It is an important role so it's going to take some time to find the right replacement. Our expectation is it's also going to take the new developer (or team of developers) to get familiar enough with the entire program before we start to push new builds to fix bugs and add new features.

While I would love some updates, especially those that were promised a long time ago, the program works very well now, and the delay is understandable. For sure, take your time in hiring and training, no sense in breaking a fantastic learning tool.

Thank you for your reply. What an awful tragidy, very sad to hear that. Thinking about it I guess dynamic markings would make it more cluttered looking when trying to follow along with the on screen prompts, I didn't appreciate that. I still think it should be a consideration at some point in the future however as without dynamics you're not really learning the piano you're just learning the keyboard. Many thanks for your response and my thoughts are with the team over this sad loss :-(
