Hi!

My son is 8 years old and his hands are not so big yet. Hi likes Lukas Graham so we bought the intermediate song of 7 years. First lesson, we ran in to E maj7 and because of his hands were to smal, he couldnĀ“t make it. It would be good if you could provide information as "hard to play with smal hands"
Beside this, we are happy :) So thank you for a good product!

Hi Johan,

It's great to hear that your 8 year old son is using Playground!

In general, intermediate lessons are structured in the following way:

LH: Block chords, in close position voicing (eliminates hand position shifts)

RH: More accurate melody than rookie, but still might be simplified from advanced.

With the block chords, they are usually major or minor triads. However, for some songs, like this one, 7th chords are essential for the sound, especially if the 7th isn't in the melody. So you might see 7th chord blocks in the LH.

I always recommend rookie level songs to young children.
