Option to hide the cursor

Post by phf » Tue Oct 02, 2018 4:57 pm

Having an option to disable the visual cursor while playing would force users to count properly instead of waiting for the cursor. I think this would help make the transition from PGS to printed sheet music easier. Thanks, and keep up the good work!

That's a great suggestion. I've heard about this one before. I'll notify the development team to consider adding this in the next desktop version.

I don't have an update, but I did respond to your email. I just messaged Thomas about this and will get back to you over the support desk.

Thanks again for the suggestion, but I just got word from Thomas that there are no plans to do this in the future as of right now.

Hey Andrew W,

It looks like this feature was discussed fairly recently and at the moment will not be developed but I do want to jump in and let your team know that I also agree with cgierlack. Having the ability to toggle this feature would aid in overall growth. Right now it feels more like a crutch than a tool the further you progress. I would be very interested to understand any reasoning as to why this feature would not be built out.

Thanks,

Andrew

This is definitely a popular feature request from our users. It's on our list of features to look into, but there's no real timeline for if / when this will happen.

We'll be sure to keep you guys in the loop if the feature gets added.
