Speed and accuracy exercises

Post by shana » Mon Sep 21, 2015 4:45 am

I'd love to have speed, accuracy and rhythm exercises, including quaver triplets and going down all the way to 64th notes. It's the hardest thing to practice on your own, and mostly boring (but necessary).

Agreed. We're in the process of building out an extra practice section in the Bootcamp which will feature these "boring yet necessary" exercises. :)

Do you know when the drills will be rolled out?

No exact ETA, but we may have some rolling out as early as April.

I love playground sessions for what it is, but the promised updates don't happen. When you identify an area in which you need work, it's best to seek alternative sources to help you out.

There is a good size backlog of feature requests. There are new features that have come out. They don't always get to the specific one any given person is waiting for. This is one of the features I want to see, too.

If I had to guess, this particular feature set is not a trivial change to the program.

No argument with what you're saying, John, except that the new features that have come out are minor, and a long way from what has been promised. I mentioned to David some time ago that it would be best to stop promising new features, much less giving a date, if it isn't 100% going to happen. It makes the company look bad.

I would hope that people seek out supplementary instruction while waiting.
