iPad isn't recognizing keyboard today

I haven't had any connection problems thus far but today PG app is not recognizing my piano. I reinstalled app , restarted my iPad , unplugged everything , restarted piano...everything I could think of to no avail. Has anyone else had this issue today? My apologies if this subject has been posted already , but I don't want to spend time reading a forum posts when I could be playing piano.
I was wondering if the app goes down, during updates? Thanks if you can help.

My iPad stopped recognizing the keyboard about a week ago. Nothing I've tried (same as Kittylou) has got it working again. Would appreciate any ideas from PS.

Don't know if this is the same issue but I have to go into settings of the Playground app and under Piano (I think, don't have it with me) select one of two MIDI options. The default seems to be some "network session" virtual MIDI interface (probably not the exact wording) that is always first in the list but I can't seem to get rid of. Maybe some other app still in the background?

Once I select the correct MIDI channel there everything works fine.
