Thank you, that got it working!
Re: Playground Sessions & new iPad Pro 2018
I got a cable that has USB C on one end for my iPad and USB type B printer/scanner on the other end for my Alesis Recital digital piano. The connection works fine but there's no music. Whether I play the notes correctly or not, I can only see the notes being played, there's no music to accompany the piece being played.
Does anyone know if I got the right cable for my devices?
Thank you,
MNV

1) In my case the length of the cable was an issue. Anecdotally, cables longer than 3 feet have had issues for me. I'm guessing it has something to do with Apples Power Profile standard, not 100% sure.
2) If you haven't yet, try reinstalling the app and do a power cycle of the device.

MNV,
Make sure the sample rate is set to 44100 under settings. That might correct the sound issues.
I'm not sure if the all in one cable is the best set up.
For the iPad we used to recommend USB A-to-B cable + Apple lightning adapter. For the new iPad, you would substitute the USB A to lightning adapter with a USB A to USB C adapter.
The cable + adapter set up was always the best recommended choice.
