What type of topics can be posted here, what things we can post in off-topic boards?

Hello Colleen,

Things are really flexible here as the company does not tightly manage these boards, and 99% of the posts here are from other end users.

If you follow the basics - no SPAM, profanity or insults, you should be able to post any music related topic you want.

Also remember that these forums are accessible from the app but also any internet browser, and all our posts are indexed by Google and the other search engines - so keep the personal information to a minimum.

The company also has a "playground sessions community" if you can tolerate Facebook, as well as a fantastic youtube channel with dozens of lessons and tutorials. They also do live streaming lessons on youtube , usually Wednesdays at 6 PM .(Eastern Time)

Good luck and let us know if you have any other questions.

Primary topics people post:

How to use Playground Sessions
Progress you're making in the program
Issues you are having using the app - though very often you'll be advised to contact support@playgroundsessions.com because they can do things with your log files that we "ordinary" users can't.
Songs you think would be great to add to the song store (and here you'll be advised to go do the song request form: https://playgroundsessions.uservoice.co ... g-requests)
Questions about the notation in songs, or lessons, or just things you need clarification on

But I recommend you browsed the posts, at least the more recent posts, in each of the forum categories to have a look at what others have posted. You'll see there is a very wide range of questions, comments and topics.

This particular "thread" is for introducing yourself to the community - what you hope to get from Playground Sessions, perhaps why you've chosen to follow this path (using Playground Sessions to learn piano) and whatever else that is related to saying hello to a new community. There are many other threads in General Chat, and even more in the other categories.

Welcome to Playground Sessions, Colleen. I wish you great success in your Piano journey and hope you have a lot of fun too.
