I've just started with playground sessions. I wondered if it's possible to select just a section of music to play and repeat? I think that would be a great way to practice.

Yes, it is possible in the Windows and MacOS clients. As far as I am aware, the feature is missing in the iPad version of the software.
You can just click for your "starting point" and then drag the mouse to your "end point". You should see a line at the beginning and the end, and everything outside these bars should be greyed out. Afterwards, I suggest to click on the "loop" icon (next to the Metronome), and then play away!
