What does it mean, the green check mark?

Post by sw1tch73ch » Tue Nov 08, 2016 8:53 pm

So I have three lessons that do not display the green check mark. Lessons 13, 14 and 15 of the Rookie Boot Camp, which show "Completed X of X" (either 4 of 4 or 5 of 5), and even have 100% on each step for the lesson when I pull up that lesson. I ran through the lessons again, but no check mark. What does the check mark mean and is this an error or expected behavior on lessons 13, 14 and 15?

Thanks.

Hey Sw1tch,

The check mark is suppose to show when all sections are completed. There is a bug causing it not to show correctly, should be fixed in the next update!

OK, cool. I look forward to that update as I'm sure there are many things updated and fixed.

What are the details of the computer and operating system you are using?

The details of the machine / operating system:

Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit

Intel NUC MINI-PC computer: D34010WYK
Intel Core i3-4010U 1.7 GHz
4 GB DDR3
60 GB Mushkin SSD MSATA Drive C:
230 GB Hitachi HDD SATA Drive D:

Intel Dual Band Wireless AC 7260

Yamaha YPG-635 via USB-MIDII

I'm not sure how deep to go with the specs of the computer.

EDIT TO ADD: I just realized one thing probably not common in my setup is my monitor. The resolution I'm running 3440x1440 - it's a 21:9 ratio 1440p monitor. The check marks are missing for the right most three lessons. I just pulled up the "COURSES" tab which has a few of the boot camp lessons moved or removed and it's still the right most three are missing the check marks. I've completed "Imagine" by John Lennon and on the "Bootcamp" tab it is missing the check - and it is one of the right most three. On the "Courses" tab it is not in the rightmost three lessons and does show the checkmark. So it might be the maximize to the full screen at 3440x1440 configuration I'm using.

EDIT 2 TO ADD: After some quick experimenting, I un-maximized the window and shrunk it until only 12 columns of lessons are shown. All completed lessons have checkmarks. If I widen the screen to 13 columns, the right column does not show completion. When I have the window fully maximized, it shows 15 columns, the left 12 show completion, the right three don't. I wonder if any one is running 4K resolutions and what they're experiencing.

I think this is at least a good point to start troubleshooting.
