Hi,
is there any way of removing the moving line that indicates the tempo and point in the song?
Best regards

I'd also like to know if this is possible. I'm not able to find anything that seems to get it to go away, but it would be really nice. It's very helpful when first starting, but I feel like I'm getting to the point where it may be limiting my growth. I get the sense I'm using it as a crutch rather than learning the timing of notes as well as I should.

No, it's not possible right now to hide the scroll bar.

I understand what you're getting at though - and my best advice would be to rely on your ears over your eyes. The scroll bar is just a visual aid.

How can we ignore the moving bar when we are trying to learn to read music as we play? I'm not trying to memorize songs here, I'm trying to learn to play the piano. Being able to turn off the moving bar is an essential feature that hopefully will be added soon.

Hi, are there any plans to have a toggle button for visibility of the moving line? I would also like to be able to remove it but still get the feedback for when I miss notes when they are not in time. I think that would be more valuable especially in intermediate/advanced phases.

Just got word from Thomas that there are no plans to do that in the future as of right now.

A quick way to deal with the bar might be to set it to the background color for a nearly invisible moving bar. It will still need some coding to make the color of the bar a toggle, but it would be less than for removing the bar altogether.

In the meantime I'd suggest playing off a pdf print or screen grab ;)

Thats a great idea ! And if the switch was in the config menu (where the midi setup is) or even in an ini file instead of in the main interface, it should be a very small change.
