Errant "Wrong Notes" appearing at the beginning of the practice sessions

I am new to Playground Sessions and am having an odd problem.

I am using the Windows 10 application (newest version) and am connecting to via USB-MIDI to a Casio Privia PX-330.
The connectivity is fine and any key pressed on the Casio keyboard properly shows on the virtual keyboard on the bottom of the screen.

The problem is that after 2 or 3 practice sessions, errant "wrong notes" appear at the very beginning of the practice score (right after the prompting voice says "Go!") even though I am NOT pressing any keys (I even tested it with my hands completely off the keyboard). It is almost like it is not clearing some MIDI or application buffer. The only way to remedy the problem is to quit the application and then re-start it. But, after a few practices, it will return again.

It is frustrating because it is affecting the practice scoring.

Any ideas?

Hi there,

When unwanted red notes appear during a practice session like this, it's almost always a MIDI driver problem.

I'd recommend to search the web for the following:

Casio MIDI drivers
Driver for the MIDI cable itself

Also, try swapping the in and out plugs on the back of the keyboard.
