The NP30 seems to have become a ghost. This is all I could find:

Thanks. Yes I found that but it doesn't seem to work.

I was afraid that would be the case. That's the only one I could find. They may not have made a driver for Windows 10 for the NP30. I was lucky that Windows 10 driver worked for my YPG-635 (I think it was that one). I suppose you could try one of the "Steinberg" USB drivers, though they would probably be even further from the NP30 - that driver is for the instruments that also do Audio over USB.

I haven't given up yet, though.

The NP-30 is one of the keyboards without USB? That means you'll need a good USB to MIDI adapter (I use a Roland UM-ONE mk2- https://www.roland.com/us/products/UM-ONE_mk2/ - on my older keyboards).

How were you connecting to the NP-30?

Midi to USB lead with good reviews. Everything I have read says that you need a Midi driver. Could anyone give me the midi settings for the NP30 to work with Playground ?

You actually need a midi driver for the USB to MIDI adapter cable. The NP-30 will be hidden from the computer behind the adapter.

Finally working :) I was advising a friend remotely & it turned out that the midi leads were the wrong way round. The lead actually included a generic windows driver. Thanks for your help.

I should have thought of that. I've advised people to try swapping the plugs in the past. But it didn't occur to me this time - and for that I'm sorry you had to find it on your own. BUT... I'm very happy you did get it resolved, and I have to say, "Well done!!"
